Artisan Update

November 2023:

We just returned from East Africa to bring the first of our FW23/24 collection to the USA.

Our artisans are always paid in full for their collections and work. WE never exclusively ask for all of their time as we want them to continue to have local businesses as well. Due to the pandemic and now some radical business taxes that developed this year in Kenya, there has been a great need among our artisans and keeping their businesses operating.

We have no paid USA staff, so your purchases during this time continue to allow us to loan our artisans finances for their shop rentals, small micro-loans, school fees for their children and also for supplying meals for communities in Kenya. We also partner with a non-profit in a variety of other projects helping women and children.

We appreciate all of our wonderful customers. Thank you for continuing to support our small business which allows us to empower our artisans in Kenya.
